SPECKLED BUFF stoneware plastic vacuum clay is a suitable for multi-purpose use. It has a formula developed on the special demands of pottery masters. It has a strong structure with its fine chamotte structure. This stoneware clay has a mottled camel hair/yellow firing colour in the electric kiln.

Stoneware clays are clays that are fired without pores at high firing temperatures and show glassy (semi-glassy) properties.
These vacuum produced clays can be shaped by lathe or by hand.
Penetration value affects the formability on the lathe.
For best results, experiment with your own kiln regime and kiln atmosphere.
